There is always a danger that repetition dulls one's enthusiasm.

The more prevalent situation is that a recording just turns out to be mediocre or worse, compressed and artificial sounding.

Our playlist is varied to test various aspects. Occasionally a recording will fulfill all requirements, but more often highlight certain criteria.engrossed.

Here's a plea to anyone involved in recorded music - don't mix down to the lowest common denominator - the iPod generation. Leave the bass and dynamics in!
